In June 2022, A-ROSA launched a game-changing new ship. Our A-ROSA SENA is an E-Motion Ship. She has a hybrid propulsion system consisting of diesel and electric motors and a large battery. So-called peak shaving reduces fuel consumption as much as possible during sailing and stores excess energy in the battery. This energy is used for temporarily purely electric driving and so our flagship can dock in port almost silently and without local emissions.

The ship is also much larger than our current fleet, with 4 decks, a width of 17.7 metres and 140 spacious cabins (from 226 square feet up) most with private balcony. The ship also offers a dedicated Family Area on Deck 1, amazing restaurants and bars, two swimming pools, one for kids, as well as a spacious SPA-ROSA and so much more.
