First renderings of a family cabin on new E-Motion Ship

The delivery of the new E-Motion ship, which was originally planned for May 2021, has been postponed until March 2022 as a result of disruption to the supply chain caused by the Corona pandemic.

A-ROSA River Cruises has released the first rendering of the new family cabins that will be debut on its groundbreaking new ‘E-Motion’ ship, scheduled for delivery in Spring 2021. The ship, which will sail on the Rhine, has been designed from the outset with family and multi-generational holidays in mind. 

The large 28m2 family cabins, which sleep up to five people, will feature a generous sized double bed, sofa bed plus two bunk beds complete with peepholes and curtains for the little ones. There will also be a play area, a bathroom with shower and two sinks, a separate toilet and the river cruise line plans to have toy box in every cabin filled with age appropriate toys for the little guests. They will be located in a dedicated family area, next to the kids club. 

A-ROSA’s new ship will boast a range of innovative new family features including a separate children’s pool, next to a large swimming pool on the sun deck, a dedicated kids club room onboard and the restaurant will have a children’s area where young guests can eat together with their friends if desired.  

The ship will also feature 119 generous 21 m2 standard cabins that boast a living area that is visually separated from the bedroom, plus a spacious bathroom and a large balcony with seating for two. Seven 26 m2 balcony suites will also be available, located in a separate suite area. The suites will have televisions that can be rotated so guests can choose whether to watch from their bed or the sofa.
