Koblenz is one of Germany’s most beautiful cities, located where the Moselle and Rhine rivers meet.
Koblenz has a rich Roman history dating back 2000 years - in fact, the Romans called Koblenz “Castellum apud Confluentes”, the fortress at the confluence. Surrounding the city are four mountain ranges – Eifel, Hunsrück, Westerwald and the Taunus.
And the visitor will enjoy discovering the architecture of the Romanesque and baroque churches, the narrow streets, ancient houses and grand municipal buildings.
