Does A-ROSA charge a fuel surcharge?

The global energy crisis triggered by the Ukraine war and the global economic situation have led to a considerable increase in fuel prices. For this reason, A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH reserves the right to reassess for each month of departure whether the increased fuel prices are to be passed on to the guests on a pro rata basis on the basis of its General Terms and Conditions (§5) from 01.04.2023 (with the exception of Douro cruises). Whether a surcharge has to be levied is determined in a rolling procedure about seven weeks before the first departure of the month in question. The basis for this is the current diesel purchase price. A-ROSA bears the additional costs alone up to the value of the calculation of the catalogue price; only when this is exceeded is the fuel surcharge levied. If the energy market calms down and diesel prices fall as a result, no surcharge will be levied.
Children aged 1-15 are exempt from the additional fuel surcharge
